My latest visit in Brussels was a treat! I attended an event and was pleasantly surprised by 'The Hotel' located right on Waterloo Boulevard. I only managed to take a few snaps but wanted to share them anyway.
The rooms were clean and minimal, with beautiful large windows that let so much sunlight come through. Warning! Standard Rooms and Junior Suites do not have baths, only showers! The lobby's trendy bar area served snacks and all sorts of cocktails! Guests also have access to The Urban Spa, which is supposedly a lovely little retreat from the city. Sadly, I did not get a chance to take a look at it due to my busy schedule. It is a great place for business or leisure, mostly because of it's convenient location!
As amazing as it was staying in the heart of the city, we didn't get as lucky with the weather conditions. Brussels was covered in snow, with a temperature of -7 degrees. The streets and sidewalks were slippery and icy, so my attempts at taking any outfit or outdoor pictures miserably failed. I spent the weekend bundled up in hundreds of layers!
Shame I didn't get to experience more things Brussels had to offer, but I am so glad to have had such a fun weekend!
