'Dear White People' Netflix Premiere

Forgive me if this post comes a little late, but I wanted to share my experience and thoughts on the 'Dear White People' Netflix Series Premiere, as I rarely express my opinion on the carpets and premieres I get to attend. It is also very rare for me to want to go home straight after and watch the movie or show (let's be honest, premieres can get a little repetitive from time to time). But this really stood out and got me SO excited!

Firmoo Glasses

Fun fact: I was driving with my boyfriend when he started laughing at me because he 'noticed' I wasn't seeing properly. I didn't believe him until a few days later... I called him in a panic, stuck in the Hollywood hills, realizing I was no longer able to detect cars coming the opposite way in low light! Dreading the day of my eye test, I looked up potential frames that wouldn't make me look like a complete nerd and noticed an emerging trend: people were no longer afraid to pose wearing glasses (never imagined I would ever see a 'glasses' duckface selfie)! Have they become the new lip injections of the internet? Maybe not... But the days of feeling stigmatized for wearing glasses may be gone. 

A Grand Hotel Cafe Disaster

 

For the first time in my life, Too Faced hasn't lived up to my expectations, as I was rather disappointed with the Grand Hotel Cafe eyeshadow palettes. Despite my excitement for the release AND being a huge fan of the brand, I didn't think it was worth the hype... or the investment!

The Hotel Brussels

My latest visit in Brussels was a treat! I attended an event and was pleasantly surprised by 'The Hotel' located right on Waterloo Boulevard. I only managed to take a few snaps but wanted to share them anyway.
